About Inside Access


Do you ever wonder what goes on inside that building you drive past? What happens in the control tower at Port Columbus? Who drives Governor Strickland around town? What's it like to operate a train locomotive?


That's what Inside Access brings you every month on 10TV and the Ohio News Network.

For 30 minutes we take you inside those places and events, and meet the people who help make our community a better place to work and live in.


Inside Access also gives you the opportunity to view the show on your TV or your computer, at a time that's convenient for you. Repeat showings at different times of the day and 24/7 internet access allow you to stream every episode to your computer. The show also offers many extras such as extended interviews, deleted scenes, outtakes, and much more not available during a 30 minute television show.


As with anything new it takes a commitment, and Inside Access is committed to bringing you these stories of Central Ohio by way of some award winning and talented storytellers. High definition video and clean crisp audio add to the experience.


Inside Access Staff


Host - Andrea Cambern: In addition to her anchoring responsibilities on WBNS-10TV, this award-winning journalist focuses on health issues. Andrea has been honored with six Emmy awards for her anchoring and reporting skills, was named Female Anchor of the Year by the National Association of Television Journalists and has received honors from the Associated Press for her spot news coverage and medical documentaries.


In 2007, Andrea was inducted into the Ohio Radio and Television Broadcasters Hall of Fame.


Andrea is also an advocate for health and wellness. She helped create Columbus' well-known 'Commit to be Fit' campaign and devotes much of her personal time to local organizations that promote health and advocate for issues that impact families, women and the community.


Andrea serves on the board of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Central Ohio, the Advisory Committee of Girl Scouts Seal of Ohio Council and is in a marketing advisory role for the American Lung Association. She has been recognized for her advocacy by The James Cancer Hospital and the Central Ohio Diabetes Association and was named one of the Top 40 under 40' by Business First.


Producer - Phil Paulin: With more than 30 years in broadcasting as a cinematographer, videographer, editor, producer, and director, Phil is a multi-Emmy Award winner who most recently was WBNS-TV's Special Projects producer. In that role he produced and directed the high-profile events at 10TV, many of them for national distribution. Some of his award-winning projects include: Chihuly at the Conservatory; Stories in Stone, and Marcel Marceau: Maestro of Mime, Presidential Town Meeting (1992), Gubernatorial and Senatorial Debates (1996,98,02), The Children's Miracle Network Telethon, Women of Achievement Awards, Hannah Neil Center Awards.


In 2002, Phil served on Ohio's Bicentennial Commission's Film board, honoring the state's 200 years of statehood.
